Have you ever felt like letting go? Life gets tough, temptations pull hard, or doubts creep in, and part of you just wants to step back from following Jesus for a while. But here’s the incredible truth: God never lets go of you. 🙌
When my kids were little, we visited the Grand Canyon. My two boys were full of energy—wiggly and eager to explore right up to the edge. I gripped their hands tightly. No way was I letting them slip away! As their dad, my love for them was too strong to release them, no matter how much they squirmed.
That’s a tiny picture of God’s hold on us. Once you place your faith in Jesus and become His child, He holds you securely. Your feelings may fluctuate, circumstances may shake you, but God’s grip is unchanging.
The Promise from Jesus Himself
Jesus declares this powerful assurance in John 10:28 (ESV):
“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
And it doesn’t stop there—John 10:29 (ESV) adds:
“My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”
