📖 God’s Promise of Joy

“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty,

nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches,

but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.”

— 1 Timothy 6:17 (ESV)

God is a joy-giver, not a joy-taker!

He designed life to be delightful, not dreadful. 🌿

✅ Your conscience is clear in Christ (Romans 8:1)

✅ You can delight in friends, family, and life’s simple gifts (Ecclesiastes 3:12–13)

🚫 The Myth: Following Jesus Means No Fun

Many people think:

“If I follow Jesus, the fun is over.”

But the truth? 💥

“The Son of Man came eating and drinking…” — Matthew 11:19 (ESV)

Jesus enjoyed life!

He celebrated, shared meals, and filled every moment with purpose and love.

He modeled JOY, not misery.

🎉 The World’s Fun Fades — God’s Joy Lasts

The world promises pleasure but leaves you empty.

More money, more things, more noise… and still no peace. 😕

But in Christ?

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy;

at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” — Psalm 16:11 (ESV)

🎊 God’s joy overflows.

It’s deep, lasting, and soul-satisfying.

🌅 Don’t Let Stress Steal Your Joy

Let go of the burdens that weigh you down.

Trade your anxiety for His peace.

Your Creator wants you to enjoy the life He gave you!

Father,

Thank You for being the source of true joy.

Forgive me for letting stress and fear steal my peace.

Help me to trust You, lay down my burdens,

and live with the freedom and joy Jesus died to give me.

May my life reflect the goodness and fun of walking with You.
