We all get the same 24 hours each day. But the real question is: What are you doing with yours?

The Bible makes it clear—true fulfillment doesn’t come from hoarding time, money, talents, or comfort. It comes from pouring them out for others and for God’s kingdom. Jesus modeled the ultimate example: He came not to be served, but to serve, and ultimately gave His life as a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45 (ESV) — “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

If Jesus is our model, then the goal of life is simple: become more like Him by becoming more unselfish. Unselfishness is love in action—and God is love.

God Sees and Rewards Your Service ❤️

God doesn’t overlook even the smallest act of kindness done in His name. He remembers every time you help His people.

Hebrews 6:10 (ESV) — “For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.”

This verse is a powerful promise: Your efforts matter. When you serve others—whether through time, encouragement, resources, or sharing the Gospel—God notices and will reward it eternally.

One day, we’ll all stand before Him. What will your answer be? “I chased success, accumulated stuff, and kept it for myself”? Or “Lord, I gave it all away for You and others”?

Matthew 20:28 (ESV) — “Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Generosity isn’t just about money—it’s about your whole self. Be rich in good deeds, willing to share, and eager to help.

1 Timothy 6:18 (ESV) — “…to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”

Practical Ways to Start Giving Yourself Away Today 💪

Here are some actionable steps to live this out:

  • Generous with your talent — Use your skills (teaching, fixing things, listening, creating) to bless others without expecting payback. Volunteer in your church, mentor someone, or share your expertise freely.
  • Generous with your time — Schedule intentional moments to help: call a lonely friend, serve at a food bank, or disciple a new believer.
  • Generous with your resources — Give financially to missions, support those in need, or share what you have (meals, rides, clothes).
  • Generous with the Gospel — Help people know Christ, discover their God-given purpose, grow spiritually, find their ministry, and live on mission.

Start small—one act today. Consistency builds a life of impact.

Bold truth: Without service and generosity, there is no eternal reward in heaven for those areas. God says clearly that sacrifices of love please Him.

Hebrews 13:16 (ESV) — “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

Heavenly Father,
