The greatest gift the world has ever received didn’t come from Amazon, wasn’t tied with a shiny bow, and definitely wasn’t on sale. It was wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger… yet it cost the Giver everything.
This is the heart of the Full Gospel we preach with fire and power: God gave His Son so we could be made right with Him—not by works, not by striving, but by sheer grace!
The Scripture That Started It All 🕊️
Romans 3:24-25 (ESV)
“…and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.”
This is not a suggestion—it’s a divine transaction sealed by the blood of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit!
Back to the Basics: Why the Cross Was Necessary 🙏
Let’s break it down plainly, Christian-style—straight from the Word, full of Holy Ghost conviction.
1. Nobody’s Perfect – We’ve All Fallen Short
I don’t measure up. You don’t measure up. No one does.
Romans 3:23 (ESV)
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Bold truth: The Holy Spirit convicts us of this so He can draw us to the Savior. That tug you feel in your heart right now? That’s Him!
2. God Is Holy and Just – Sin Demands a Penalty
God doesn’t wink at sin. He is perfectly just.
Romans 6:23 (ESV)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Death = separation from God. But glory to God—He made a way!
3. Jesus Paid It ALL – The Great Exchange
Jesus, the sinless Lamb, took your sin, my sin, and the sin of the whole world upon Himself.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV)
“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
Hallelujah! He took our guilt and gave us His goodness. This is the message that sets captives free in Christian altars around the world!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
4. It’s a Free Gift – But You Must Receive It! 🎁
Salvation isn’t earned—it’s received by faith.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

- “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to becomechildren of God.”
And because we’re Pentecostal, we don’t stop at salvation!

“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
The same gift that saves you also fills you with power!

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the greatest gift ever given—Your Son, Jesus Christ! I admit I am a sinner and I fall short of Your glory. I repent of every sin. I believe Jesus died for me, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
Right now, by faith, I receive Your free gift of salvation. Wash me in the blood of Jesus. Make me a new creation.
And Lord, just like on the Day of Pentecost, fill me with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as You give utterance. Empower me to live holy, walk in Your power, and be a bold witness everywhere I go.
I am Yours—body, soul, and spirit. Use my life for Your glory!
